About Us

Founded in 1981 by Mr David Chung, Biomedia is one of Singapore’s leading Biomedical and Life Sciences services companies and around Asia which provides laboratories, clinical, biomedical, nuclear science and industrial science with a large range of medical and laboratory products such as general equipment, lab consumables, medical devices and materials.

Our headquarters is located in Singapore and operates through three business segments that include General Laboratory, Life Science & Biomedical and Nuclear Science. Over the last 40 years, the company has successfully grown from a small industry player to one of the most respectable names in the biomedical and life sciences industry.

At Biomedia, we share a common set of beliefs and core values which is the foundation of our success. Our core values of Leadership, Integrity, Versatility, Excellence and Security not only greatly define how we work but also embody the spirit and energy of Biomedia.

Besides being dedicated to the research, development and provision of medical and laboratory products and devices, we are also committed to self-sufficient healthcare empowerment.

This is clearly demonstrated by our staff strength of more than 220 people in 7 subsidiaries and 4 associated companies across 5 South East Asian countries, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar, and the company’s upcoming market expansion plans in Indonesia and growing presence in Brunei.
